Team to the Extreme

Having spent 6 days predominately with women, I am so incredibly inspired and empowered. When you get a bunch of creative, independent women in one place only great things can happen.
I have had the privilege to visit with women from all over the globe talking about life, quilting, womanhood, aging , courage and business. I am now completely refueled! The common thread that I heard is after a ‘certain age’ is that it is all good.

Now don’t get me wrong, aging has its downside, but generally we all feel like it is a great place to be. We have acquired a good dose of wisdom that allows us to exude true confidence in our skill. We have come to accept our bodies for the beauty that truly lies within and not feel encumbered by the outer beauty of days gone by. I have found we laugh more, we challenge more, we share more.

There is a trust and a bond that that ties us together. Team to the extreme, cheering each other on with our challenges,dreams and struggles. I value the sisterhood that has developed between women of a certain age. It doesn’t matter if I know you for 50 years or 5 minutes, that symbiotic connection is what carries us along.
